DESCRIPTION
Botanical Name: Vanilla Planifolia. Origin: Mexico, Central America. Extracting Method: Solvent Extract. Plant Part: Seeds/Beans. Note: Base. Aromatic Profile: Rich and warm. Vanilla essential oil is derived from the cured beans of the Vanilla planifolia plant and has a rich, sweet and enveloping aroma, boozy and balsamic at the base with a soft powdery sweetness on top. It is a classic in aromatherapy for slow, comforting evenings, and it has long been used to set a romantic mood, warming a room the way a kitchen smells when something is baking. As a base note it anchors citrus and floral blends beautifully. It can be diffused, added to bath salts or carried into a massage oil.
