Champaca absolute is a highly aromatic extract derived from the flowers of the champaca tree, long treasured in Thailand where the blossoms are strung into garlands and floated in offering bowls. It is widely used in the perfume industry for its sweet, opulent floral fragrance. Champaca absolute is a viscous, yellowish liquid with a strong, sweet, and floral aroma that is often described as exotic, sensual, and romantic — deep enough that a single drop reads across a room. It is highly concentrated and should be used sparingly in perfumes and other aromatic products.
